Google Body Browser

Browser itu dinamakan Google Body Browser, sebuah aplikasi anyar nan canggih berteknologi 3D yang diusung Google ini disebut-sebut sebagai terobosan baru dalam studi anatomi yang dapat merevolusi pemahaman kita tentang tubuh manusia dan bahkan mungkin lebih cepat diserap ketimbang mengenalnya melalui buku atau teks.
Aplikasi ini belum dirilis secara resmi oleh Google. Mirip dengan aplikasi-aplikasi yang dikeluarkan sebelumnya, Google memungkinkan Anda menjelajahi anatomi tubuh dari berbagai sudut pandang sesuka hati, persis seperti Anda menjelajahi Bumi dengan Google Earth.
Di aplikasi ini Google juga sekaligus memperkenalkan teknologi Internet barunya yang disebut WebGL. Selain ringan, teknologi ini mampu menyuguhkan grafis 3D yang kompleks di atas halaman Web biasa, tanpa ada tambahan plug-in khusus seperti Java atau Flash.



Di dalam video, browser digunakan untuk membedah tubuh manusia per layer, mulai dari kulit, peredaran darah, jalur pencernaan makanan, dan sebagainya. Anda akan dibawa berwisata di dalam tubuh manusia dan mengidentifikasi organ, tulang, dan otot. Tubuh dapat diubah, dimanipulasi, dan dibuat telanjang untuk mengetahui organ apa berfungsi untuk apa, cara kerja masing-masing organ, dan hubungan satu organ dengan organ lainnya.

My dad loves planning big family gatherings around the holidays. He always emails our extended family a few weeks early, and we’ll all plan out logistics in an email thread - food responsibilities, addresses, times-- everything. Logistics can get pretty crazy when it comes to the actual day of the event, and we’re rarely at a computer on that day. I always find that my dad starts to lose track of the million things in his email that he needs to remember.

If only my dad knew that he could check Gmail on his Android phone using either the built-in mail app or the web app. Then he could always keep track of his messages while on the go, especially during the busy holiday season.

To help my dad, and parents everywhere, a few of us at Google decided to create a website, TeachParentsTech.org, where “kids” of any age can send how-to videos to their moms, dads, uncles - everybody! Here’s a video I made that walks you through how to check email from your mobile phone.

Editing your Google Docs on the go

With Google Docs, we’re always trying to make you more productive—and part of that means making it possible for you to get things done from anywhere, at anytime. That’s why we’re excited that the new documents editor now supports editing on your mobile browser. We’re rolling this out over the next few days.

That means that...

• You can work on that important memo...while on the bus or train to work.
• If you’re behind on a group proposal, but really want to make it to the ball game tonight, your whole team can work on it from the bleacher seats.
• You can take minute-by-minute notes at a concert so you’ll always remember the setlist. And your friends can jealously follow in real-time at home.
• ...and the list goes on!

It’s easy to get started: visit docs.google.com in a browser on a supported device, and select the document you want to edit. Then, when you’re viewing it, press the Edit button to switch to the mobile editor.

In the next few days, we’re rolling this out to English-language users around the world on Android with Froyo (version 2.2) and on iOS devices (version 3.0+) including the iPad. We’ll be adding support for other languages soon. And as before, we also support editing of spreadsheets from your mobile device’s browser.

We hope you enjoy editing your documents on the go—especially when you’re at the game with a hot dog in your other hand.
